One band attracting great comment from ARTROCKER (and other magazines such as Clash Music and NME) is WET NUNS. Fresh from their appearance at Reading And Leeds Festivals, they release their blues -punk inspired single, ‘Why So Cold?‘ on September 10th.
The gruff vocals and blues-tinged guitar remind me a little of a more punked-up version of Glasgow’s Mummy Short Arms – which can only be a good thing!
The Yorkshire based (I think) duo are set to head out on a full UK headline tour throughout this month, and the dates are noted below if you want to make a point of going to see one of the UK’s most hotly tipped bands before they start booking the bigger venues.
