THE HOTELLES: ‘Aviators’ / ‘Close To Tears.’

THE HOTELLES are three brothers aged 14, 18 and 20 years old, from Cranbrook Kent, and having decided to form a band in 2008, they are now ready to release their debut double-A-side single.

From their sound, it’s easy to hear that the lads were brought up on  diet of classic ‘indie’ music and indeed the influences of say, Arctic
Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Supergrass
and The Strokes shine through at various points. That said, THE HOTELLES manage to build in a bit of a  dirty sound to ‘Aviators’ in particular.

‘Aviators’ / ‘Close To Tears‘ will be released on 5th November both digitally and as limited addition 7-inch, which will be available via the band’s own website, where a free download of the track ‘Ruins’  is also be available.

The three tracks below are currently featured in a Vans promo video, which is currently being aired through the UK site and the fashion label’s social networking sites.

It could just be that THE HOTELLES will do for ‘indie’ music what Hanson did for ‘pop’ and Outl4w did for ‘punk’ / ‘rock.’ ( Iknow there are four members of Outl4w, but three are brothers.)
