THE TRAPS: ‘Moving Pictures.’

Birmingham indie four-piece THE TRAPS are to release their debut album ‘Calypso‘ in 2013, from which the following track, ‘Moving Pictures’ is lifted. It has a kind of warm, smooth-flowing and ever so slightly Eighties retro-indie feel to it. It’s pretty damned catchy, whatever!

(It was apparently self-produced with a bit of assistance from Rob Jones (aka The Voluntary Butler Scheme) whose own music was recently featured on LOUD HORIZON)

Following the release of their previous single, ‘Your Headland’ the band’s music has been featured on Sony’s Mobile Entertainment portal and had their artwork selected as featured background on the popular file transfer site http://www.wetransfer.com.

Looks like people are paying attention, then!
