THE DEADLINE SHAKES: ‘Bright Spot In A Bad Year.’

THE DEADLINE SHAKES - consoleTHE DEADLINE SHAKES from Glasgow have probably had more mentions on LOUD HORIZON this past eighteen months than any other band! (Well – we did say some nice things about them even before they released their first single, ‘Sweeten The Deal,’ almost a year ago to the day – 5th November 2012)

Since then, there has been a succession of releases, a ‘finalist’ placing in the prestigious Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland – The Big Apple Award, and a veritable plethora of positive comments passed their way from Tom Robinson, Jim Gellatly and The Daily Record, plus a multitude of blogs.

Well now (or  9th December, to be precise) the lads are set to release (again via Flowers In The Dustbin) their latest – and best – ‘Bright Spot In A Bad Year.’ As you’ll hear from the video below, this is one catchy, bouncy, melodic pop song, touched ever so slightly with a gentle folky refrain ….. which is not something you’ll often hear me mention in a positive manner!

Anyway – no need for me to say any more. Here it is:

About Cee Tee Jackson

I run three blogs: 1) (my author blog.) 2) (my business / dog walking blog) 3) (my music blog .. infrequent posts) Guess what? I'm a dog walking, wannabee author that loves music.
